King Kones is on hold....

Hello everyone!

Well I can't chat long, just wanted to update everyone on what is going on.  We have had to put the snow cone stand on hold for a bit.  My hubby had a heart attack yesterday and is currently in CCU.  So prayers are definitely appreciated.

For those that don't know, my hubby has been sick 14 out of the 15 years we've been married.  I'll just name a few so that you get an idea.  Diabetes, Hypertension, Renal Failure, Had kidney transplant and then it failed, Two eye surgeries due to torn retinas.....Anywhoo...too many to list.  He's never had to have open-heart surgery Praise God!  But this is his 7th heart attack.  He has had several stints and balloons to help the heart.
Yesterday was two more balloons.  And he's only 49 years old. :(  Even through all of this I'm so blessed to have this wonderful man in my life!  Thank you God!  I will cherish every moment!

So.......... yes, it's hard at times.  I'll try to update everyone later!~  Thank you for the prayers!  Have a blessed day!

What can I say?

Wow...
Well it's been interesting to say the least!

The Snow cone stand is up and running! Still learning as we go, but at least its a "GO!"
I promised pictures so here it is!

Yep! It's ugly I know! But will have to do for this year! Business is slow, but expected. I pray...No I know, that business will pick up further into the summer months and as the weather gets hotter! It is a huge relief to get all that "crap" out of my house! It looks somewhat functional again! I can see my floor again! :)

Here is the side of the stand closer to night time! I will say that the pink is growing on me. I still think it's ugly, but it is growing on me. One thing I can say is the kids love the color! :)

Eddie is running the stand usually from 3-9pm. I do worry about him and have found myself staying at the stand in case he needs me. Well, last week after working all week and then hanging out at the stand ....just about killed me! I'm too old!

I know I'm going to have to let him tend to it. It is his baby after all! :)

Hopefully now that the stand is open, I can have more down time, and not worry so much about things. I pray that I will have some peace very soon. I thank God for blessing me with all that I have! I know I'm not deserving!

I'll keep you posted!~

King Kones

Well good Wednesday Morning my Peeps!

I haven't posted in a few days. Sawry!

Been too super busy with King Kones! Our brand new snow cone stand. Woot Woot! I have never made so much simple syrup in my life! But I'm a pro at it now! I know, I know, you want pictures! I will try I promise! Update!!! We now have over 70 flavors! We should open in about a week! Please cover us in prayer! We are so excited for this opportunity that God has so graciously given us.

On another note! I went fishing with my bestest buddy ever last weekend! The weather was wonderful. Only caught a couple of fish. I think its still a little chilly for the fishies! But it was still a nice relaxing weekend. Not sure how much extra time I will have to fish when we open the snow cone stand, so I'm taking every chance I can to get out there! I have some beautiful sunrise pictures to post! Oh, did I mention that we were at the park fishing at 7:00am! Yepper!
Wow, I wonder why it is so hard for me to get up that early for work....but man... when it comes to fishing...I don't have a problem at all! ;) Here is a picture of a carp that I caught. We don't keep the fish. Mostly because the fish we are catching are what we call "trash" fish. And really, that is fine. We are there for the sport anyway. So we let them go.

Here are some of the beautiful sunrise pictures!

I'll post later when I get a chance! Oh ...and thanks for the prayers in advance!

Bye~

Tiger's Blood please...

Wow! Another busy weekend with little to no rest.

Our new adventure...AKA King Kones...(Sno-cone stand) is keeping me busy. I did not realize what all it entailed. It's like starting a small business, with limited space! Bahahaha! I will post pictures as soon as I can.

I spent all weekend making simple syrup to mix with the flavors! We have over 50 flavors, and I only got like 20 bottles done! :( But I also spent time cleaning the Sno-Cone trailer, and organizing, and just stuff in general. You can't even walk in the front room at my house without stepping over sno-cone syrup! It is interesting to mix flavors like Dill Pickle and think.."Geeze, do people really order this!" I remember going to the Sno-Cone stand and telling the teenager, "I'll have a tigers blood please!"

We are excited but scared at the same time. Please pray for us to have a successful sno-cone business. I'll keep you posted on how it goes!

Bye~
